Melamine Paint is a relatively new paint product designed to cover laminate surfaces. It is an oil paint with urethane reinforcement. To paint over this type of paint I recommend scuff sanding glossy surfaces and removing any remaining dust. I recommend priming with Behr Interior/Exterior Oil Based Primer and allowing the primer to dry for 24 hours. When the primer is dry you may topcoat with Behr Interior Latex Paint in the color and sheen of your choice.

The padded headboards that we carry can be attached to a wall by first attaching the legs to the headboard then using toggle bolts attach the legs to the wall. I hope this helps.
