For concrete subfloors we recommend using the Unison 2-in-1 together with a 6 mil Polyethylene Film, such as Roberts 70-115 MoistureBarricade. If you are in a condo on or above grade, switching to Harmony 3-in-1 Underlayment will give you higher sound dampening ratings, etc. that may be required by your condo management. You should also consult the laminate manufacture's recommendation as well to make sure their warranty criteria is followed with respect to underlayment requirements. Providing all the conditions outlined by the laminate flooring manufacturer are met, you can use Unison 2-in-1 Underlayment over well-bonded vinyl tiles. They may suggest using a 6-mil polyethylene film in conjunction with Unison.
