We do not recommend this or warranty the product if a different color tint is added unfortunately.

Flex coat is not recommended for wood surfaces. A product that you may wish to consider to "waterproof" your shed or dog house is our Blue Seal waterproofing membrane, also available at Home Depot, which can be applied to wood surfaces. The product is light blue in colour, but can be painted afterwords with a latex paint.

It can be applied over previously coated surfaces that are clean,dry and in sound condition. Hope this helps.

Apply a liberal coat using a brush or thick nap roller. A second coat should be applied after 24 hours. A third coat may be necessary to achieve a dry mil thickness of approx. 30 mils.

1) No a primer is not needed for rusted areas clean and treat with a rust inhibitor
2) Flex Coat can span seams and fittings, if needed up to 3 coats can be applied.
