Questions & Answers for NuTone One Bulb Heat-A-Vent Fan - 70 CFM
Question
Would like to know if this can work as a replacement for the electric baseboard heater and what is the noise level when fan is operational.
Considering purchasing this "One bulb heat-a-vent-fan-70cfm" from NuTone, model 9417dnm. I have a 40 sq feet bathroom, the electric baseboard heater was removed from the bathrooms, so instead of replacing the heater, this all in one fan/heater looks like an interesting alternative.

Unfortunately this fan can not replace the baseboard heater that has been removed. The 9417DNM unit is mainly used to eliminate the fog build up on the mirror and help lower the level of humidity.

There may be enough light depending on the size of the bathroom as it requires a 250 watt R40 bulb but it is not recommended to install this unit in a suspended ceiling. I hope this helps.
