Does the RTH4300B work with heat only gas furnace?
Does the RTH4300B work with heat only gas furnace with 2 small wires at my current thermostat?

Yes. You can connect up to 5 wires + C, C1 to control the devices. You connect only the wires that you have. In your case only two. They say in the manual not to count C, C1 wires in a total of 5 wires.

Hit up and down arrows at the same time . Hit the up key to get to the third setting and toggle the setting from 1 to 0

I use duracell batteries and every month I’ve to replace the batteries? Is this normal? Or something wrong with the unit?

I don't believe that the batteries should run down that quickly. I would suggest calling technical support at 1 800 468 1502, and reference your model number RTH4300B. They will be able to review the problems and make a recomendation

Problems with Wiring. From the wall, white, green, red, black. If I connect white to W, green to G and red to R leaving jumper in, tape B, heat works but not airconditioner. If I place black into B AC fan runs continuosly. Should I use a jumper betweeb W and Y and connect white wire?

Yes it can. Press and hold the up and down buttons to enter system setup. ( press and hold the s and t buttons until the display changes)
Press the down button until you get to function # 14
In function 14 it will show a 0. For Celcius you want to change the zero to #1

Yes this thermostat has the option to have the fan on auto, which means it runs when the heating or cooling is running OR the fan can be left on all the time.

As long as you have a central heatting and cooling system, then yes this thermostat will work. I would suggest calling tech support at 1 800 468 1502 just to double check if you still have questions.
