Is this safe to use in the basement?
I have been told not to use the pink stuff in basements due to potential moisture problems. Can you confirm this is not recomended?
I plan on using 1" of Celfort Polystyrene rigid insulation, then building my 2x6 walls and using this material.

The moisture potential comes with the fact that basement walls wicker moisture in and out all the time, depending on exterior temperatures. If you choose to install the Celfort board first, make sure you tape the foam boards at the perimeter. Building your walls the way you describe it is excellent.
