Is this accessory compatible with the 300 - series model?
Just wondering, as many accessories seem to be specifically for the XPR model.

Yes,it will work fine with the 300 series...I have found the XPR series will work with 90% of the accessories...If not...contact service at Dremel and you will find they will go out of their way to help you....

No.There are accessories that will etch and grind in rock, unfortunately, there is nothing to drill holes in rock.

Yes, it will do a fine job..I have been using it to cut stone, drilling stone and making jewelry with it...I am very pleased with the quality of this tool....

Yes, you can use the drill press for drilling rock. My question is how would you clamp the rock other than holding it? Secondly, the dremel bits are not design to drill precise holes in "rock". If you are using the diamond bits, they are generally used for shaping not drilling.

No, you have to buy the rotary tool separately, but you can get it at Home Depot, Canadian Tire, etc.
