Smart Tiles Stainless Tile - 4 Piece

A revolutionary and unique in the world product that is as easy to install as peel and stick! The do it yourself peel and stick tile concept of smart tiles is made of an adhesive substrate topped with a clear gel component called Gel-0™ (which gives it its 3-dimensional effect) that makes the product so easy to handle, cut and maintain you will wonder why this was not invented before. They are installed in minutes without any mess or specialized tools over any clean and sleek surface for you to enjoy right there and then. Especially designed for kitchen and bathroom environments (ie. backsplashes), they are resistant to the heat of stovetops and the humidity of bathrooms. answer 2
The size of 3.6875" x 3.6875" is only for one tile so the total of the 4 tiles should be about 7.375" x 7.375". I hope this helps.

There are 4 tiles per 1 in the order. So if you need 40 tiles, you must add 10 to your cart when ordering.

I used a Stanley knife (like one of those snap off blade style utility knives). Just make sure you have a steel ruler or level to cut against and press hard while cutting, both on the knife and the ruler. You dont want them slipping out on you while youre cutting them.

Question
How do you space the large tiles?
There are detailed instructions for spacing the small tiles (Mosaik and Panoramik) on the website, but no info on the large tiles. Should I overlap them a bit or allow some space for grout? If so, how much space should I leave and do you carry non-abrasive grout?

There is no need to space these tiles they can be installed side by side with no need to overlap. These tiles also do not need to be grouted as they are peel and stick tiles. I hope this helps.

You can apply these to existing tiles as long as they are a flat, clean surface. I hope this helps.

No, you dont have to buy two different colours, there's a 'grain' to the stainless steel on the tiles. Just make sure to alter the direction of the grain for each tile when you install them.

I went through just over 4 boxes (10 packets of 4 tiles in each box - if you order 10, they are boxed), so 160 tiles for a 108" x 24" backplash in a diamond pattern.
