Bamboo Engineered Hardwood Flooring - CARBONIZED HORIZONTAL

Quality Craft Bamboo Flooring is an affordable, attractive, eco-friendly, and durable alternative to traditional hardwood flooring. From an ecological standpoint, it is completely renewable and sustainable. It regenerates itself without the need to replant and can be grown in areas that would not support other types of forests. Question
Can this flooring be glued down instead of nailed?

Yes. If you are deciding to glue this floor down be sure you review the product extensively. If the flooring planks are bowed were the center of the board rises above the edges I would not recommend glueing the floor.

If your boards are bowed as mentioned above I would recommend nailing the floor in place, even if this requires you to install a subfloor over concrete.

Before answering yes or no I would strongly suggest looking at the product. This particular product has a major bow in it making a subfloor over cement a necessity.

If the boards were flat, you would not need a subfloor, but there are more advantages to doing it then not.

No you don't have to use a sub-floor just because it is a cement floor. It can be installed on-top of a cement floor as long as the floor is level. Hope this helps.

If you are gluing directly to concrete you do not need an underlayment.

If you are building a subfloor and then attaching the bamboo flooring to that you would require underlayment.

Be cautious in deciding whether or not you are laying a subfloor. There are many longterm advantages to having one despite the additional labour and material costs.

Yes I bought this floor and you can get it at a wopping 54.99 per stair, I would suggest making your own like I did by ripping off about and inch off then board and the gluing it to the bottom of that board routering the edege and restaining it a a lot cheaper that way
