It isn't good for deep snow. I also have a long 2 1/2 car driveway and it is great as long as you don't wait until the snow is too deep.

This unit will take up to 12" of snow at one time and throw it up to 25'. If the snow is really heavy it may take more then one pass to clear it.

It is straight gas. No need to mix with oil.

No this is snowthrower has a 87 cc 4-cycle OHV Engine which does not require you to mix oil with the gas.

make sure the "key" is all the way in (double click), put the chock on halfway, give it 3 pushes on the primer and pull the cord. It was -27 here and after 2 pulls it started.

I don't think you will need to fit it with an electric start. It's very easy to pull even on very cold days and starts right up with the easy to use choke and primer.

You can buy this unit with an electric start. Please check with your local Home Depot store for cost and availability. It is not possible to add one afterwards.

This unit comes with a recoil start and there is no electric start option for this model. We do how ever have model number 38282 which does come with an electric start.

The rubber belt should not be an issue and if for some reason it were to break they are avaiable at your local full service Toro dealer.
