The towel warmer heats up very quickly. It's quite hot, so it does a great job of not only warming but drying towels.
There is a hidden on/off switch on the bottom of the leg, and the ends of the legs come with a cap on them to protect them. If you don't realize these caps aren't part of the unit and take them off, you won't find the power switch...
