Whether its a power outage at home or the need for a more dependable generator at the job site, the Homelite 5000 Watt Portable Generator is up to the task. Essential household appliances can be kept running for up to 12 hours before refueling. And the multiple outlet model keeps multiple power tools running on the job sit too, which keeps crews working, not waiting.
Actually they do rate the decibels on this particular generator.I'm buying this generator for camping purposes and I needed to know how loud this generator is so I contacted Homelite directly and they responded with the following information..."rated at 74 dbl. at 70 ft."
That's an exact quote from Homelite.

We do not rate decibles on a generator because it cycles or revs up and down upon the load drawn from it. They are loud.

IT is recommended that when hooking up to a building or transfer switch that a qualified licensed electrician do the work. This person can do the connection under all codes as well. That person will know how to disconnect the neutral.
