The 44 In. Spoleto ceiling fan in brushed nickel finish is a very contemporary 3 bladed fan. It comes with a bowl style light kit with both white and red murano glass and uses 3 x 40W candelabra based bulbs. This fan is SCC compliant with a 190W limiter.

Unfortunately, this ceiling fan can not be flush mounted to the ceiling. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yes, this ceiling fan can be mounted on a sloped ceiling but you may require a longer down rod. I hope this helps.

It is 16.1", but just to be on the safe side I would count the height as 16.5". It should not be longer than that.

can the bowl style light kit be removed
the fan works beautifully..really powerful, however the lighting is dim, can the light mechanism be removed and replaced with a more powerful/brighter light fixture

Can the bowl be replaced to accommodate energy efficient bulbs (takes 3 chandelier bulbs)
The energy efficient chandelier bulbs are too wide and long for the standard glass bowl.
It has 3 x 40W ..bulbs.I find the regular bulbs too hot & only have 1 bulb 'going', and it is not attractive.
Of course I could use 25's, but it is my main light source and would like to decrease wattage.

The light kit is designed to work with that piece of glass, so without changing the structure of the light kit stem you wont be able to add a "deeper" glass bowl.
I would suggest using a 9W candelabra base CFL bulb to help with your heat problem.
You can pick them up at your local THD store for $9.49.

We don't supply a larger piece of glass to accommodate larger bulbs for that fan.

Yes, the battery can be replaced at your local THD store. It uses an A23 battery and here is the article/sku# 1000534887 and the cost is $6.49.
