I do not know, but you just get a bag which you fill with water or sand (I use water), and it keeps the umbrella in place.

the base doesn't weigh much, but comes with a vinyl (?) bag with stopper that you fill with either water or sand that makes it good and stable.

I thought mine were missing too but in fact they were already screwed in where they belong, you have to unscrew them to attach the bit they are for.

We purchased the Offset Umbrella and really like it very much. We would like to order a replacement for the fabric umbrella covering. So often we purchase items like this and can not find the covering to go with the product. Do you sell the replacement umbrella fabric? If so can you tell me the price and if you have them in stock.

How do you close the umbrella?
I bought one last week and set it up easy enough, but I can't figure out how to close the umbrella. Turning the crank one way open it, but turning it the opposite way has no effect on closing it. And as everybody knows, the instructions are pretty useless. Hope it's something I'm missing otherwise I'm going to have to return this.

Sorry this is late but I would return it as it seems your "internal mechanisms aren't working correctly. My "cross fingers" is working very well. I am gentle with it so I don't wear it out...it is only a $150 product, so I'm not expecting Rolex :) Best of luck with the return!
