Exclusive to Home Depot, the Ryobi 18V Lithium Trimmer is the ultimate cordless electric trimmer. With a longer lasting lithium ion battery, 12" cutting swath and a combination of comfort handle mold and lightweight make this trimmer perfect for any household.
Correction.... the Ryobi website says it's the P103, but the one I just bought has the P104 (larger one) with it... not sure why this is, but I'm not complaining!
It's the standard, smaller battery (P103) that comes with it, NOT the high capacity one (P104).

I have an old Black and Decker cordless trimmer that has a rotating head. That makes it easier to edge along my driveway.

You can flip down the chrome edge tool and rotate the shaft of the trimmer to do edgings similar to the way you used your old unit. The head however itself, does not rotate.

The battery will last 30 to 40 min run time. Let the machine do the work as with any battery operated tool.
