This push mower features a 173cc OHV engine requires no priming to start as well as a quick change air filter. It features a 19” deep dome steel mulching deck and is capable of 3 functions; rear bag, mulch or side discharge. The single lever height adjuster adjusts all 4 wheels at once. The ergonomically designed handles offer added comfort. Steel ball bearings wheels provide longer life, while folding handles are designed for off-season storage. A bottle of oil is included in the carton. This mower also offers a 3 Year Limited Warranty.

My Mower just started sputtering, and blowing white smoke. Only 1.5 years old, always add oil, I have a small yard, any ideas

Why are you "adding oil"? "Change" it at the start of the season but you would never need to add any..Sounds like that is your problem. you are over filling the crankcase. I have had mine for 4 years now and it never misses a beat. best mower on market by far

White smoke on air cooled engines could be caused by several things. 1) Incorrect oil viscosity, this unit requires 10W30, 2) over-filled engine or 3) unit was recently tipped onto its side for cleaning out grass from under deck.

Anonymous, Sorry for the delay.
The starter rope must be 6 to 7 feet long, .125 to .156 in diameter and the tensile strentgh must be 450-500 lbs. Hope this helps!

The industry has moved away from using HP for engine power. The Cub Cadet 173 cc OHV engine has more than enough power to handle the toughest mowing challenges.

We do not have a dethaching blade for this mower. A universal blade should work if it is the rgiht size. Many of the universal blades are 20" and over but there is a 16" Atlas Universal Blade, AT-0001 that should fit.

yes i have cub cadet lawnmower and i have the hight level raised as high as it will go and it cuts the lawn to low how do i over come this problem.also i have stoped useing the grass cutch bag on the rear of the lawn mower and would like to mulch the grass how do i do that?

This unit has an all purpose blade, desinged to mow, bag and mulch. We do not have a dedicated mulching blade for this unit.
