How can the Cutout Height be 34 inches but the product Assembled Height is 35 inches?

The cabinet opening must have a minimum width and depth of 24" and height of 34-1/2" ± 1/4" from the floor to the underside of the countertop. For further help, please contact ordering assistance @ 1-800-628-0525. Hope this helps.
