The March 05, 2011 MaP chart at map-testing.com now rates both the lined tank 3380.516 and the unlined tank 3380.216 at 1,000. If you download the Excel spreadsheet it is row 76 and 77.

answer 2
As per the Veritec report, the MaP score for this toilet is 350 grams, NOT 1,000 as claimed in another answer. This toilet is American Standard part number 3380516, where '516' indicates it has the lined (insulated) tank. It is the unlined tank version of this toilet (part number 3380216) that achieves a MaP of 1,000 grams; Home Depot does not sell the unlined tank version.

I am looking at the MAP test results by Veritec Dec 15, 2010, and I believe the exact part number of this toilet as seen on the Home Depot website is 3380.516 and that would mean it goes with MaP Report Number WS-16, which lists the MaP Flush score as 350. Unless this Home Depot website has the part number listed incorrectly and it is really 3380.216 (not .516) in which case it does have a score of 1,000. If anyone else could confirm or refute this, it would be great as I myself am considering purchasing two more of these toilets. The one I have is working well, and is nice looking but the questionable MaP scrore has caused me to hold off purchasing more.

Why are higher toilets elongated?

Can seat be round and not open at he front?

answer 1
"Right-Height" toilets are usually 16.5 inches from floor to top of the rim, to meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards.
Not all ADA toilets are elongated.
Elongated toilet seats that are "open" at the front are generally commercial seats. Most home-use elongated toilets seats are not open at the front.

answer 2
Higher toilets are usually elongated for the added comfort and ease of use. There are round front bowls that are taller in the marketplace now.

Toilet seats are usually available in both open front and closed front.

If you are installing a toilet in a commercial/public facility, or need a “barrier free” application, it would be best to contact your local municipal building staff about local building codes and requirements.

Until now, dual flush toilets relied on the push of water to cleanse the bowl in what is known as a washdown flush, with most dual flush bowl designs relying on a sharp slope to give the water greater momentum. The steeped bowls mean a smaller “water spot” or water surface area in the bowl, which makes it more likely that toilet paper or other waste will cling to the sides of the bowl, staining and generating odors. The bowls of EcoFusion are a normal slope with a generous water spot, further enhancing its decreased need for homeowner cleaning and maintenance

Question
How much clearance do I need from the toilet flange to finished wall?
I read online that there are 10" rough-in toilets (10" from center of flange to finished wall). Are any of these toilets available as a 10" rough-in? It would be good to find out before I go to the trouble of breaking up the basement slab....

The Eco-Fusion is only available in a 12 inch rough-in. The Cadet 3 FloWise toilets are available in a 10 inch rough-in, but not as a complete. For a 10 inch rough-in Cadet 3 FloWise Right Height Elongated toilet, the bowl, tank, and components will need to be purchased separately (Tank: 4019128.020 & Bowl: 3016001.020).
