Hi, the winnipeg was orginally shipped as a 230 volt system with a 5.5 Kw heater, we made this spa as a dual voltage so it could work or a 15 amp 115 volt system. When configured to 115 volts the heater output is 1500 watts
The winnipeg now is in our plug and play range, and come with a 15 amp GFI protected plug
The new system is convertable to 230, by removing the plug and changing the circut board configuration.
Sorry for the confusion, hopefully this clears up mixed messages

Yes the bottom is completely sealed, the base of the spa also distributes the weight of the spa equally over the installation
Another benefit of having a full base on the spa is a stronger structural support for the acrylic shell.
Canadian Spa also insulated the base to help reduce energy costs.

Hi
The winnipeg is 2 metre x 2 metre or 80 inch by 80 inch. So the pad needs to be this size dont forget about the step which is 30 inches by 24 inches and you will need 17 inches for clearance for the cover lifter if you choose to have the CRS 1 bottom mount lifter. The top mount will require 8 iiches of clearance to no additional pad space

Was there any issues with the plug in part?
I have never heard of a tub that you just plug into a regular outlet, was there any issues with this? Such as time it took to heat up? Is it enough to power the jet, lights, stereo at the same time?

Does the pump and heater work at the same time in this Plug And Play spa?
Most 110v spa I've seen (in fact all of them...) have 1.5 HP / 2 speed pump and 1kW heater. This Winnipeg spa list it has 3 HP / 2 speed and 2kW heater. I don't assume it runs both at the same time with the 15amps? If not, how do I keep my spa warm for a 1-2 hours Winter swim?
