A: All KERDI components and the tiles should be installed using an unmodified thin-set mortar meeting ANSI A118.1 (no premixed mortar). Home Depot currently offers Custom Building Products PremiumPlus Standard Thin-se Mortar which can be used with the KERDI system. Make sure to mx the thin-set with water only when installating both KERDI and the tiles. If product is not available, please ask Store Associate for equivalent substitute.
Note that certain glass tiles may not be compatible with our system and/or may require special setting materials. Certain moisture-sensitive stones, e.g.: green marble, or resin-backed tiles may not be appropriate for use in wet areas or may require special setting materials.
