Unfortunately, you cannot purchase a Home Depot gift card in US cuurency only in CDN but it can be used in the US. I hope this helps.

It would depend, lost in the mail from us to you it would be no problem, and if you were mailing it to someone and it got lost it would depend on if we could track the gift card number.

The card should be physically received by the person so they can use it at the store. Emailing would not help them receive the card but you have to double check with Home Depot, they might have a virtual gift card.
