How long is the cord attached to the mechine?

It is always recommended to use a heavier cord when working with distances of 100 feet or more. It's not convenient but it's the machine that will be damaged and that can be avoided

You would need a 14 gage cord up to 100 feet and a 12 gage cord up to 150 feet. We do not recommend that you use an extension cord over 150 feet.

You will require a true extension cord which has a single receptacle on it and not multiple ones.

Question
Can the impeller be removed?
I want to use this to vac up the mulch that blows from my yard into my neighbours. The mulch is recycled wood so is quite a bit harder than leaves, etc?

Not advisable. First of all the wood is dense and wear the impeller quickly. If the wood is wet or damp it has the potential to clog any wood chipper and would in fact destroy your Toro. Blow the chips to a conveniant spot in your yard that you can use as a compost and shange your dhips and dust to dirt.

Yes it can. I would however be careful in trying to pick up mulch. It will more then likely jam in the housing if it is hard. A better alternative would be to use the blower and blow it in to a pile to pick up.

To clean a really "cob-webby" barn.. vac or blow?

At this time of year, the egg sacks are stuck in the crevices and the adults are finnished. So the best that you can expect to do is suck the webs off the walls. Blowing will only make clean up of your walls and tools harder

Good question and I don't really have a good answer for you. I would be a little concerned that the webs are sticky and might clog the blower if you vacum them.

Unless you have a postage stamp sized property lot to maintain I would not recommend a "cordless" leaf vacuum/blower. They do not have the power and longevity to do a proper job and the batteries are very expensive to replace.

This product would not be very effective to blow snow with. You should look at either our Toro Power Shovel or 1800 Power Clear for a easy electric powered solution to move snow.

Yes, they will stick in the impeller. It is best to pick them up when they are dry.

answer 2
I haven't gone out after it has rained, but have vacuumed up some wet leaves with few interruptions. What I found is the leaves don't jam the impeller, but get jammed up either entering the tube or exiting the narrower chute because too many were sucked up at a time.
When the leaves are wet, I simply go back and forth over the pile of leaves to avoid picking up too many leaves in one shot.
