It sounds as if you saw a door with a venting glass insert. This style of door is found in most Home Depot stores however, the standard sizes are 32" / 34" / 36" (depending on the area of Canada). 30" doors are available through special order.

The measurement from the outside of the jambs for a 32" x 80" door is 33.5" x 81.5".
Hinges come standard on the door unit but other hardware (knobs / deadbolt) are sold separately.

The door frame is a primed, finger-jointed pine. Vinyl cladded frames are available through the special order program as well.
