Screen doors are typically installed on the brickmould of an entry door unit. This stock door does not include brickmould but it can be purchased separately at your local Home Depot store and installed onto this door after purchase.
Consult with the installation instructions of your screen door to ensure that is will properly fit the size of entry door you are planning to purchase.

I don’t recommend anything specifically but I would say that the brush and/or roller needs to be suitable for the smooth finish of the steel door as well as the type of paint being used. The Paint Associate at the store can definitely help you you pick out the right brush to paint this product. Hope this helps.

How to stop leaking under threshold?
I have just had one of these doors (an outside opening one) installed and am getting leaking under the threshold when it rains. Water appears to be coming in down the hinge side, then pooling on the threshold and getting absorbed into foam stripping and somehow through the cracks at the bottom. How can I stop this from happening and effectively seam the threshold?

The easiest first step is to ensure that the door unit has been properly caulked.
The full procedure is outlined in the installation instructions provided with your door at the time of purchase but some key points are:
Caulking should be applied where the door frame meets with the brickmould (supplied separately), where the brickmould meets with the brick, inside corners of the door frame and along the front edge of the sill (threshold) where it meets the sub-sill.
Another key point is caulking needs to be applied to the sub-sill prior to installation.
If you feel that your door system has been properly installed and caulked, please contact your local Home Depot store for further assistance.
