hello,
Does this come with thermostat control? If not, can any thermostat be used? Also, can this go under laminate flooring?

Hi Sonicgarden
No this product doesn't come with the thermostat, and the only way to use a different thermostat other than the True Comfort one is that it has to have an in floor probe sensor and a GFCI included in the thermostat. This product may be used under a laminate floor if the subfloor is concrete and you would have to use 4" spacing. I hope this helps.

Question
How can I remove a tile to replace it without damaging my underfloor heating system?
I have this underfloor heating installed and have a couple of tiles I need to remove and replace. How can I safely break the tile out and remove the existing thinset to get down to the existing slurry coat over the wire heating with damaging the wire in order to replace a tile? Can you please advise what tools and methods to use to accomplish this.

Thank you so much for your assistance.

Good morning,
There is no secret on replacing a tile, the important is to scratch the contours of the grout of the tile, put a cloth on the tile, with a hammer break gently the tile.
