Question

Can you install the roof so that it drains toward the front, rather than the back?

I need to put a shed flush against my house, and want rainwater to drain away from the house, toward the door side of the shed.

I'm looking at the assembly instructions and my answer is actually NO you cannot reverse the roof angle. I purchased the shed based on the answer of YES I read here. However the instructions indicate that the Header and Door Header Assembly obviously support the roof above the doors and the roof naturally slopes back toward the rear of the shed. I figure the only way this angle could be reversed is by building in a header or riser at the rear of the shed that would allow the roof to angle down from the back to front. The gables on the left and right of the shed would not fit correctly either.

Hi Homeklutz
It is possible to reverse the roof for drainage reasons but some of the holes may not line up exactly but you can easily make new ones. I hope this helps.

A floor does not come with it, but the frame for one does. We simply laid plywood overtop of the frame since we made a base for the shed which raised it off the ground.

No this garden shed doesn't come with a floor but includes a steel floor frame. It is recommended to use a plywood for the floor. I hope this helps.

roof - flat or sloped?

I couldn't find one of these sheds in-stood to look at and am trying to find out if the roof is completely flat or if there is a gentle slope. I am looking at the 2 photos on this website of the shed and the roof almost looks like it has a gentle slope. Is it sloped or flat?
