Question
I want to use this for my bedroom but my window is quite high above from the floor - approx 5.5ft from the ground. Will the hose reach that far?
Also, do i need to secure the hose when it's placed out of the window. If so, how do I do that so no air goes through?

Can portable air conditioners with window kits be used on sliding windows that slide to the side?
I live in an apartment building and the only window I have is in my bedroom. This window is not an up and down window, it's a sliding window that slides to the side. When I see these portable air conditioners where they show the window kit, they always show windows that open up and down. Can they be used on sliding windows?
