I have a small house (under 700 sq ft). The living room is comparatively small but this 12,000 BTU unit can barely cool it. I purchased one of these things about a six weeks ago. It was fine when the temperature outside was below 25C but as soon as it got above that it's been having trouble bringing the interior temperature even 3 or 4 C below outside ambient. (e.g. if it's 30C outside I can only cool the room to 27C or 26C inside).

There's no noticeable difference between fan speeds. Low, Medium, High all seem to have exactly the same output.

It's also extremely loud.

In my opinion, it's junk. I'll never buy another AC unit from this manufacturer.
