Flow-Thru Humidifier (summer use)
Q: Does the Wait 5000 "OR" any other flow-thru humidifier work well in the summer months?
ie. Without the use of furnace (heat) &/OR while central air-conditioning is in use...?

No, the flow-thru humidifiers will not work in the summer months as the unit is heat activated. There is usually enough humidity in the summer months so there usually isn't a need to add humidity. I hope this helps.

Question
What is the default setting for the dip switches on a Wait 5000 humidfier?
I have just replaced a humdifiier with a Wait 5000 & have mislaid the manual. The unit is not providing sufficient humidity & while it may have to do humidisense sensor, I would like to verify the switch setting prior to looking at pressure switches or hard wiring.

Are parts available for the electomagnetic valve?

The drain on this unit is really finicky. I had the same problem. Make sure there are no (even slight) "uphill" runs or areas where the water has to be "pushed". The drain system has to be completely free and open.
