Seabreeze Smart Contempro Thermaflo™ 1500W Heater Fan

"Smart" Thermaflo™ technology detects your room temperature and selects the heat setting required to maintain the desired comfort level. Just set it, and forget it! This fan saves up to one third on energy costs by automatically adjusting the heat output in Thermaflo™ mode to maintain the desired comfort level. It automatically reduces heat output and synchronizes the fan speed, resulting in whisper quiet operation as the room comfort level is reached. It delivers more intense heat in Thermaflo™ (1000W) mode by synchronizing the fan speed with heat output.

Yes, a good safety factor. And it would be very hard to tip over since it has a solid and well positioned base.

It doesn't have a timer or a typical thermostat. But it does have an adjustment that enables setting the temperature so that when the desired room temp is reached, the fan stops, and the red light goes out showing that the desired temp has been achieved.

Based on our experience using it in the kitchen, I'd say it would be quite suitable for a bathroom. It doesn't take up much space; it has a very solid footing, and heats quickly.

You may place it within a bathroom as long as water cannot come in direct contact with the unit.

Question
How does the LOW temperature setting work or has the unit to be turned 'on' & 'off' every time it stops working & the green light goes off??
I have just purchased the Smart Thermoflow SF6000TA only to read in its manual that there is a higher model with added features! However, after reaching my optimum comfort temperature, I turned the temperature setting knob anti-clockwise till the "red" light turned off leaving only the green light. After a short time, the green light also went off, the fan stopped working and the heater ceased to work - and stayed off with only the power indicator lamp on. It stayed in this mode for nearly half an hour and never came back to life! Is that how it works, that one is then required to wake up in the middle of the night to switch the unit ON by yanking the control knob to maximum OR does the unit ultimately restart and maintain the ambient temperature intermittently - by coming on for a while to bring the temperature up before going to sleep again??

Once you turn the temperature knob counter-clockwise until the "red" light turns off you're in "ThermaFlo" mode. The unit turns off once the desired room comfort level is reached. Once the room temperature begins to drop the unit will turn back on. It depends on how cold the room is, if it's much colder the unit will turn back on quicker. You can re-adjust the setting, by turning the temperature knob clockwise wise and letting the heater run on high a bit longer then turning the knob counter-clockwise until the "red" light is on. That should solve the issue and the heater should turn back on much sooner.
