Four inches. A regular dryer duct will work OK.

This unit comes with a plastic collar for a 4" duct connection. I hope this helps.

Yes! The side-mounting clip makes the usit mount on a stud or wall just fine.

It really depends on the room it's mounted in and acoustics thereof. I have mine in a little bathroom and it's reasonably loud. But testing it in open air on the bench it sounded 1/3 as loud.
