Can this unit be used to replace an existing bathroom fan?
I just moved into a recently updated 10 yr old Townhouse. The bathroom is beautiful but very dimly lit. I thought that there were combo units for bathroom fans that include the fan and a light. This would be used to replace an existing fan.

This fan can be used to replace an existing fan. However the fan is a 2.0 sones and 70CFM unit, not sure which unit you are trying to replace. . Please contact Broan-Nutone Canada at 1.877.896.1119 for more detailed options for replacement.

We recommend the 744NTC use a 75 watt bulb either the R30 or BR30 for standard applications, however if installed above a shower or bath the unit must be connected to a GFCI protected branch with the use of a PAR30L or PAR30LN type bulb. Hope this helps.

Can this be installed inside the shower?
