It is not designed to be mounted to the wall, however, after attaching the metal stands to the back of the headboard you could attached the metal stands to the wall. The stands are designed to sit on the floor so there is a portion of the stands that are below the head board that could be mounted to the wall. Although, this is not how the headboard was designed. And it would not be a clean look. That is the metal stands would be sticking out below the headboard.
