The sizes of the pots and pans within this kit are as follows:
small sauce pan - 1L - 14 cm
large sauce pan - 3.4L - 20 cm
saute pan - 3L - 24 cm
fry pan - 24 cm.

I have phoned the manufacturer at 1-877-947-7627 and they have confirmed that this is 5 ply. I hope this helps.
