I bought the garage door opener and the keyless entry model 940C (in sepearate package) from home depot. They were placed very close to each other so I thought they are compatible. I didn't aware that they may not be compatible.
I opened the package and followed the instructions, but the garage door opener did not recognize the code I pressed on the keyless entry key pad.
I just noticed that the keyless entry stays that it is compatible with garage door opener made before 2005 with an Orange learn button. Apparently, mine was made in 2007. The keyless entry which claimed to be able to use with models later than 2005, is 940D, but then it also stays that 940D only works with Purple learn button on the motor unit. My model has a White learn button. I am totally confused. Please help me.

I reset the settings of my door opener and now my keypad entry password is erased it seems ecause when I enter the password now it does not work. How to reset it, please advise

When we go to close the Garage door, the light flashes and it will not close. We have to go to the wall panel and hold the button down till it is closed. Why is it doing this?
Also how do I reprogram the numeric pad?
The unit was installed by Home Depot.
