This remote will be compatible with a LM unit if the Garage Door Opener has a "purple" smart button and a purple antenna.
The LM unit should also be a current model manufactured after 2005.

Chamberlain remotes are fully compatible with LiftMaster branded Garage Door Openers. However the frequency of the remote must match the frequency of the operator.

Although this product is no longer supported, you can use the Clicker Universal remote for this application. Follow the directions as though you were programming a Chamberlain garage door opener with an "Orange / Red" learn button as indicated in the instruction sheet.

At one time we did have compatibility with some Weiser Systems. Although they would be more familiar with which remote is compatible.

The remote may. It depends on how old the Craftsman unit is. If you are not sure, the Universal Radio Kit 955CD is compatible. This can be wired to the Craftsman unit and would now provide you with a new receiver capable of accepting this mini transmitter.

Question
Will unit work replace multi code opener
I would like to use this unit to open both my garage door (Chamberlain opener) and my condo gate. The condo gate uses a 10 dipswitch Multi Code opener.
Can the Three Button Mini Remote be programmed to do this , or should I use a Clicker Universal ?

The Mini remote utilizes security + technology and is not compatible with the DIP Switch systems. A Clicker KLIK1C is the ideal solution, with its two programmable buttons. This product can mimic the Dip Switch code for one button and the Garage Door Opener Code on the other.
Trust this is helpful.

If your LiftMaster Garage Door opener is newer than 2005 it should work. If your LiftMaster visor transmitters have a black push button and/or the antenna from the LiftMaster Garage Door Opener is purple, this transmitter will work.

Question
will this operate a Liftmaster 1/2 hp Security + ?
My current remote - now giving trouble - has "Chamberlain" on the circuit board.

Thank you for your question. If the S/C unit is new, check the antenna and the learn button, if they are purple this transmitter should work with the product.
Thanks again

Which key fob remote works for Chamberlain openers manufactur date 08/01 It has a red learn button

The transmitter series that works with this "code" all end in a "C", not CD.
So you need a 956C to be directly compatable with your garage door opener. You may find this difficult to find as it is a little older.

Alternatively, you can purchase a 955CD radio kit. It is a simple installation and then all the new transmitters with "CD" will work with this. Your old transmitters will work as usual.

Hope this helps and thank you for your question.
