Questions & Answers for PEAK Four Step Stair Riser

Question
How long of a riser do you make?
I need a 12 step riser coming off of my deck. Can I add risers together to make a longer one or will that not work? The risers are supported underneath by a 2 by 4 structure.

Hi Jbehr
Unfortunately you cannot add two risers together to make a longer one. It is suggested to have a landing between the risers. I hope this helps.

Unfortunately, at the current time the 6 and 7 step risers are not available to view online. We do carry them in-store and the SKUs are 6-step - 1000412415 and the 7-step is 1000413982. I hope this helps.

The following are directions on how to attach the wood to the step:

1. Fastener to bolt the Stair Risers to deck
fascia board: Ø3/8” x 1 1/2” lag bolt.
2. Fastener to bolt the bottom of the Stair
risers to landing or concrete pad: Ø1/4”
x 2 1/4” anchor pin.
3. Fastener to install treads: Ø1/4” x 2”
carriage bolt and nuts.

Hope this helps.

Sorry we do not have risers for 14 steps.

I would recommend the customer use either pressure treated lumber / cedar (2x10 or 2x12) for exterior uses or spruce for interior use (2x10 or 2x12). Hope this helps.
