what size of compressor needed for this paint sprayer?
I have a portor cable 2 HP 6 gallon compressor that gets up to 150 psi. I've only used this compressor to run my brad nailer, is it strong enough to operate this paint sprayer?

Hi Wyseguy, The SCFM requirement for this paint sprayer is about 40 PSI, so your compressor should be sufficient. I hope this helps.
Is this gun compatible with water based and lacquer paints? My husband mentioned in passing that he wanted a paint gun so I'm doing some research.

Can you use this gun for exterior painting?
I need to paint outside and use a oil based paint. Will the spray be too fine and fly away, I do not want to damage anything because of a lot of over spray.
