Can I use this and take out the existing Tub?
I have My Mother with me now and she can't get in the bath but can get into a shower. Iwant to take out the tub and instert the shower. Please can you advise if this is a good Idea..

Replacing an existing bathtub with a shower unit is becoming very popular option for many consumers. This shower will fit in a standard 60" opening width. Your main concern will be the depth of the shower stall. This shower stall's depth is 34 1/4", typically most bathtubs are either 30" or 32" deep. If you have enough space in the bathroom to extend this area to accommodate the shower, it should work fine.
Please note the product you posted this question from is showing the 1-piece version, these are typically only used in new construction installations. I would suggest you look at the multi-piece version as it is ideal for renovations. This unit gets disassembled outside the house, brought in piece by piece and reassembled in the bathroom.
