Yes, all of the trailers have a VIN. The process for buying a trailer is that you will need to go in-store to pay for it get the VIN and then visit the Ministry of Transportation. Once you have your paperwork then you will go back to the store to pick up the trailer. I hope this helps.

Question
What do I need to do that I can transfer trailer to USA - do I need to get a temporary US registration?
If I would be a Canadian citizen - I would buy the trailer, get the paper work (i.e. VIN #) would get my Canadian registration and return back to Home Depot for pick-up.
How does this work with living in the US and transfering the trailer into USA (hitched by car!!)
Can't get a temporary US registration, since I don't have the VIN # yet ...

Anybody has done this before and can help!!?
Any expert from Home Depot / Linamar Consumer Products can help!!?

All feed back is very much appreciated - Thanks!!

Hi there,

If you call our customer service centre at 866-857-1445 we may be able to help.

Licensing information for various states can be found on our website here:
http://www.marathonpowerproducts.com/ownersinfo.html

Since regulations change often, we still recommend you contact the local DMV for specific questions.

the floor and side rails are sheetmetal, not strong enough for serious load absent mods. Spend the money on a used MC trailer instead.

answer 2
Our wheel chock is made to be bolted just about anywhere on the trailer bed. Most dirtbikes aren't that wide, so you could stagger two and still keep the tongue weight under 10% of the total.

First you will have to visit your local Home Depot store and purchase the trailer, once you have paid for it you will get the V.I.N. and information required to register it at the Ministry of Transportation. You will visit the Ministry of Transportation to register it and to get your plates; now you can go back to the store to pick it up. I hope this helps.

We don't recommend that the trailer be stored resting on any of its walls. The wheels and axle are designed to be the focus of any load, including the trailer's body.

The box of the trailer is 120 inches, but the front extension adds another 15 so by using that extension you should be able to fit the machine quite well.

Hi there,

The sides are in two sections, both of which are integral to the frame of the trailer. Removing them would not be advisable.
